Anti Aging Skin Care - Treatment

It is a well known fact that as we age our skin also ages. When we compare the texture of the skin of an adult with that of a new born baby we will find that the baby's skin has a shine and smoothness that an adult skin does not have. Anti aging skin care treatments try to get back the baby's skin as far as possible.

This is because the baby's skin has an abundant supply of collagen and elastin which begins to wear out naturally as the baby grows and by the time the child has reached adulthood most of the collagen and elastin has vanished leaving the person with an aging skin. Children's skins are new and that's why their skin cells are able to rejuvenate naturally. The best treatment for anti aging skin care for children would be to use mild soaps while giving them a bath and applying sun screen lotions when they are exposed in sunlight.

Another treatment that is commonly prescribed for acne is retinoid. The prominent side effects due to this treatment are dryness irritation of the skin and high degree of sensitivity to ultra violet rays. Owing to continuous irritation of the skin aging process tends to be faster. Precautionary measures against sun protection should be definitely undertaken during treatments. The most commonly used drug for acne treatments is Tretinoin. This is among the few drugs that have been approved by FDA towards anti - wrinkle skin care agent.

The increased hormone production when the child attains puberty also contributes to the appearance of acne. The treatment for acne in teens involves exfoliating the dead and infected portions using salicylic acid exfoliates and over the counter skin ointments which help to control and get rid of acne and thus help in anti aging skin care.

The most important thing that teens should be educated about is that they should not pick on the pimples as this will cause them to become infected and leave behind permanent scars on the skin. Teens should be advised to wash their faces well before they retire to bed and to use sun screen lotions and sun blocks while they are out in the sun. They should also be told to avoid all junk foods and processed foods and should be educated on eating fresh and healthy fruits and vegetables along with plenty of water to drink. This will effectively help them in anti aging skin care by keeping the skin well nourished and smooth.

Acne is one of the major causes for aging of the skin and so has to be effectively controlled the moment it is detected as an anti aging skin care regime. The skin can be kept healthy by doing regular exercises and taking all the required vitamins and supplements. Depending upon the exposure to sunlight the skin begins to develop wrinkles as we age. Facial expressions also contribute to aging of the skin as more expressive the face more the lines are formed.

People suffering from acne develop pimples around forehead chin and nose. Symptoms of acne differ from each other rapidly. Blockage appearing in the pores of the skin and hair follicles forms the base for the infection. There should be a rapid reduction in oil which will enables to keep the open. Proper care must be adequately taken to prevent aging process.
