The reason for increase in the resting metabolism may be due to that extra muscle or even due to measurement error. These adult males under study were not exposed to any kind of workout environment. But still they their metabolic rate was magnified by 31 calories.

Research Workers think that mechanisms other than the step-up in fat-free mass (such as changes in the activity of the sympathetic nervous system) are partially responsible.

It's obvious that these tummy fats are not dead tissues because of their secretions like leptin and cytokines. These secretions are responsible for regulating your metabolic rates. The reports also show that the 2 calories per pound as the metabolic rates of fats.

Firstly, you have to undergo a tummy fat loss program, so that you can burn calories even you stop exercising. But the things like light weight, many a number of repetitions of the toning exercises which are followed by many persons do not give much effects after the exercises are finished.

Secondly, if you don't have some kind of resistance workout while you're dieting, a lot of the weight you lose will come from muscle rather than fat.
